Picture the scene: picked up two hungry kids from day camp, hubby is working late and the dog needs a walk. The thought “no clean eating tonight- no time” enters my head. Rip open a frozen box of easy and throw it in the microwave or finger cooking (using your fingers to dial the pizza parlour) sounds so easy!
Luckily, I don’t buy the chemical shit storm that are commercially prepared food (anymore) and pizza isn’t in the budget today.
Fast and clean food- is it possible??? YES!!!!
This is my very non gourmet but yummy and healthy dinner.
I seasoned some boneless pork loin with olive oil and Greek spices and put it in the oven. I tossed the mini potatoes you can get from Costco in olive oil and spices and they joined the pork in the oven. While that was roasting I made this “deconstructed” salad.
The plate consists of tomatoes, cucumbers, goats milk feta cheese, olives and pickled turnip (you can find these at a Middle Eastern Market). I drizzled Farm Boy’s Greek Dressing on it (I could have made my own dressing but speed was the goal). Yum!
Easy. Fast. Healthy.
No earth shattering recipe here but I hope this post gives you another answer to the dreaded question “Mooooooooommmmmmmmmmmmm! I’m so hungry! What’s for dinner?”

A side note: I hope you have a Farm Boy near you. Awesome grocery store. This is the dressing I used:
It is good. I also can say all the ingredients: olive oil, vinegar, oregano, hand peeled garlic, spices.
I would make the same dressing myself if I had time tonight π
now with the new bridge …Farm Boy is that much closer to Osgoode!!!!!
